ABOUT US
Marri is an indigenous Australian word meaning ‘great, abundant, vast’ – a word chosen to capture the full, generous flavours of our premium Wagyu beef.
Marri Wagyu consistently achieves marble scores up to 9+ – the highest recognized score in Australia. This abundantly marbled character is the perfect starting point for talented chefs to create a centrepiece dish that combines dark, seared, delicious flavours with a great satisfying taste.
Our cattle, bred and grown in the south-east of Australia, are raised on lush natural pastures until they are introduced to a balanced diet of natural grains for at least 400 days. It’s tis extra care that produces consistency higher marbling scores – the secret to Marri Wagyu’s deliciously rich, melt-in-the-mouth dining experience.
